VPN tunnel error: CreateFile failed on Tap device:\\.\Global\.... ... : The system cannot find the file specified. (errno=2)

eCatcher uses for the VPN connection a Tap-Win32 adapter called 'Talk2m-eCatcher Connection'.
Check if this network interface exists on your PC and is not disabled.

VPN tunnel error: Cannot assign IP address to TAP-Win32 adapter using NETSH

This is fixed since eCatcher v6.3.5

You need to change the method how Talk2M is setting the IP from NETSH to DHCP. To do so, you need to:

oClose eCatcher

oOpen the "\Talk2mVpnService\conf\" folder of the directory where eCatcher is installed.

oOpen the "Talk2MClient.ovpn" file using notepad.

oReplace the line "--ip-win32 netsh" with following 2 lines:

dhcp-renew

dhcp-release

oSave the file.and re-launch eCatcher
